As this year begins, Principal Kevin Wilcock AIA LEED AP embarks on a three-year term as Secretary of the National American Institute of Architects' Committee on Design Advisory Group.

The Committee on Design—one of the national AIA's Knowledge Communities—upholds the mission of "Seeking and Promoting Design Excellence Globally." Kevin has been a frequent participant in the COD conferences over the years, travelling to the highlighted cities of Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Seattle, and Columbus, Indiana.

Kevin and his family most recently joined the 2012 Spring Conference—"The Role of Style in Defining Architectural Design Excellence"—in Seville and Granada, Spain.

"It's a chance to engage with the AIA on a national level," Kevin says of the COD Design Advisory Group. "It's great to meet architects from all around the country."
