main entrance to community center

The community building, located in a historic neighborhood just north of downtown San Jose, was a vital existing social center for seniors and had outgrown the original 3,250sf structure. The architect worked in concert with a senior community organization, the long-term operator of the existing community center, in the design of both the new center and the housing development.
